Since the fall of 2000.

Honestly, I haven’t dined in Smokey Joe’s yet. And all I know about this restaurant is mainly with American and Mexican style gourmet. Many people are not only coming for reunion, but they are here for its special American-Mexican dishes like “rib.” Architecture is base on Mexico style and the interior is decorated with woods. Wide opened space with all lights up – Smokey Joe’s is brighter than the other restaurant under Amy’s—joyful climates throughout the whole dining area.

Food, surely, a smokey rib is the recommendation by the official site of Smokey Joe’s. Since I haven't visit this restraunt yet, so I have found the tops that the site are recommended.But as I mentioned above, Smokey Joe's is more likely American and Mexican foods. Therefore, if you are sick of the "dormy", and wanting for a new taste. Then why don't you try Smokey Joe's for once?Remeber to tell me the taste after!!

Harbor Villa Thai Asia Cuisine & Lunge

The high school friends of you are coming down from North, and you couldn't manage a fine restaurant to dine in? And you don’t want to leave the school too far since you ought to take them to enjoy the night view of ocean bay? Harbor Villa is the first choice ever for friend reunion or family day. The taste of Thai and Asia cuisine or maybe have few shot at midnight will be the best of life.

Let’s have a view of the historical building here. The restaurant is located along with the port of鼓山. It is an old building since the Japanese had invaded Taiwan in the year 1896. And this building is first built in 1932 by Tsai family – wealthy landowner. Later on in 2004 this building is under the name of Amy’s, Harbor Villa that how it original came from.

Then we can move on to Harbor Villa’s delicious Thai and Asian gourmet. A Korean Sea food rice cake is the choice for the Asian test. Then the crunchy Law Chicken is the top of Thai food. The sauce of Law Chicken is the mixture taste of spicy, sweet, and sour with other Thai herbs. The chicken is goldenly fried and the bit is tender and juicy. No one can say no to the second bit.

The furniture set in Harbor Villa are mostly old fashion; elegant and on the top of vague. Climate of the restaurant is under the mystery of Asian style. You are just in Thai land or any other Asian countries while you chewing the Law chicken with the music of Indonesia. Do I move your heart and have money ready to go? Harbor Villa open seven days a week. You can just get here by walking!!!

Mamamia Since2006

In the year of 2006, Mamamia was born under the sunshine of Kaohsiung. Mamamia is located at the second floor of Muddy Waters, with total of three floors and the delicate wooden furniture structural. The owner had collected the best of red wine and white wines from Europe, America and other regions. Nevertheless, the smell of tasty spaghetti and the seasoning of dishes are attacking each customer from the stairs.

When you being taken to your table, the waiter or waitress will handed you a cup of water. And on the table there is a cup which has the milk sticks – depends on how many guest is on—to feed your groaning stomach. What I really love this restaurant is the appetizers; fried Camembert cheese and the ginger soda for beverage. I am highly recommend the ginger soda only if you like the mixture taste of little spicy from ginger and the simulative from the bubbles of soda. However, the price is high as one cup for 80 NT dollars and one pot for 200 NT. Then back to my beloved fried Camembert cheese. The cheese of Camembert is belonging to the light cheese with a bit of mushroom taste. The cheese was first cut in triangle form and fried. There is a tomato sauce – is close to the Mexican Salsa sauce – come along with the Camembert cheese. Be sure to dip in the sauce before put it into your mouth. Great now we have appetizer and beverage on table. A main dish would never miss out on the dining table. Probably order a plate of seafood spaghetti or the beef Lasagne. However, I will have a mushroom Risotto – is an Italian dish, you will have the cooked sauce ready in place; and use the sauce to cook the uncooked rice until is well done. – One spoon of risotto is double spoon of different mushrooms. The taste of rice is a bit hard since its being cooked in very different way than we usually do.

Mamamia is a definitely good place to have family, school mates or other reunion. Take a look if your stomach is crying for emptiness!!

Muddy Waters since 1999

Sandwiches, Cheese & Coffee

What I will say about Muddy Waters will be that this is a luxury spot for people to have in a morning or a short break in afternoon. Wide space interior with many of classic paintings and posters which are adding more color into the restaurant. Total of fifty-two capacity inside and twenty-two for outside. Each dinning table is made with colorful and random texture. And some of the furniture are mostly made of woods and painted with greenish colors. Moreover, when you dine in Muddy Waters, you are not only enjoy with the delicious dishes but also you are enjoying with the naturally sunshine and luxury just sitting in the restaurant.

Nevertheless the best hand made sandwiches are in Muddy Waters at this town. The fresh cabbages, tomatoes, fresh onions, pickles,Italian sauces, different cheeses and meat included and finally with the stick but tasty Ciabatta are the miracle of the culinary of arts. Anyhow, Ciabatta is not the only one choice of the bread for sandwiches. There are regular white bread, bagel, and wheat. In Muddy Waters you have much of choice of cheese which is exported from different region of the world. Not only with Ciabatta but also you can have a variety taste of eight kind of classical cheese for about two-hundred and more in NT dollars.

Western breakfast starts at seven o’clock in morning in English tradition breakfast; giving you a healthy and fresh start of a morning. Besides the sandwiches and the breakfast; don’t miss out a taste with crunchy and soft waffle dishes. The smell of milk and better spreading out through the mouth and attacking the sense of your brain during the moment that waffle melted down in your mouth. In addition, sundae, beverages, shakes and fruit smoothies are also the actors in this welcoming paradise. There are more amazing dishes in the menu are waiting for you to explore and enjoy.
